Everyone knows or has heard of Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon. Most of us probably also know Buzz Aldrin, the second astronaut on the moon. But who was the third guy on this mission?
He was probably asked more than once if he regrets not having been to the moon? But he was an excellent team player, and in an interview, he said that he was lucky with his function and being a part of this complex mission. They all had to experience tremendous pressure. We must not forget they all were a part of a challenging and dangerous mission.
We mustn’t forget he was in charge of the meaningful task of bringing the two others back to earth and facing the risk of returning alone. Michael Collins is a real space hero. During the Gemini 10 mission, he was the first astronaut to exit the spacecraft twice during one spaceflight and transferred to a satellite.
