I consider it a little bit of a luxury living close to a lake. One of the side effects is noticeable during spring and autumn: foggy mornings or days. For some, it’s a pain in the neck and they say it’s depressing; others don’t care or even like it. I count myself in the second group. Getting up early in the morning and experiencing the change from a clear sky to a foggy day is relaxing. This all goes together with the changes in nature, which is especially impressive in autumn. The leaves are turning colours and this spreads a special feeling. With cobwebs, which collect the mist in the air and building a pearl necklace with tiny water drops, an early morning stroll is like meditation.
