Of course, a good vocabulary is an essential part of language learning. How to learn a language is a topic of various philosophies and a highly discussed topic in social media. Another aspect that not only makes language learning exciting but also helpful for understanding: The culture of the country or region in which it is spoken.
For me, that also includes traditional food, and I like to try out new dishes. My favourite Philippine dish is adobo and I love to prepare it myself. Eating this traditional dish in the Philippines is much better, but bringing a little of this flavour bit to my house motivates me to dive deeper into the fascinating language of Tagalog.
