Do you keep a diary? I don’t mean a traditional one; I’m talking about a specific one for learning languages.
I tried out various systems, and until now, my most successful attempt was an online diary using Google Docs. The most significant advantage is that I can keep it up to date at any moment. This type is acceptable for a “technical” diary without personal details or thoughts, but I would use it for a personal blog. I add each day for each of my languages an entry about what I have done (reading pages x-z from a book, listening to an episode of a podcast, …) and how much time I spend with my activities. Later I can use these entries to update my Excel sheet, tracking my actions throughout the year with some cool graphics.
