Not having enough time to learn is an often-used excuse related to learning a second language. But honestly, that’s a flimsy excuse. Of course, it takes time to attend a language course, and it can occasionally happen that we have a busy time and limited free time. It’s ok to use this time for other tasks. But how much time do we spend doing nothing?
- Why do we not listen to a podcast instead of the radio while driving to work?
- Why not use a flashcard app to learn vocabulary while we’re on the toilet?
- Why not try cooking something according to a recipe in the language you’re learning?
- Why not watch a movie in your learning language with subtitles?
