According to Oxford’s definition, fluency is «The ability to speak or write a foreign language easily and accurately.» If you take a closer look at the word accurately, it’s recognisable that probably no one can become fluent in a language. Even as a native speaker, you never can master a language perfectly and «in a way that is correct and true in every detail.» But is that the correct definition when relating this to speaking (foreign) languages? I have my doubts.
